Pictures by: Jim Miller 10/1992 - A 3.5 story frame mill with the lower story of fieldstone. The mill was built in 1886 by Edward & Elizabeth Dick to the present 40'X50' dimensions. A saw mill is decaying behind the grist mill which has been somewhat restored since the 1992 photo. Not sure of the status of the sawmill.

Pictures by: Robert T. Kinsey 02/05/05 - Some mills and houses were built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries using a Mansard or French Second Empire roof style. This was because the story under the roof was not counted as a story, so it was not taxed. A good enough reason to build such a building, no? Really need some more history and info on this mill.
